jewelry care

Here are some practical tips to ensure your silver jewelry stays beautiful for years to come.

Please remove your jewelry before bathing, showering or swimming, and take off rings when washing your hands, applying lotion or hand sanitizer. Avoid exposure to chemicals like perfumes, hairsprays, deodorants, and remember to remove rings when doing any chores that may expose them to harsh detergents. Please do not dip the jewelry in any cleaning chemicals; this can harm the integrity of natural stones.

Sterling silver can be scratched if it comes into contact with hard surfaces. Be mindful of activities that could damage your jewelry, such as playing sports, gardening, etc. Also, be careful when putting on or taking off your jewelry to avoid pulling or bending it.

For proper cleaning and care, gently polish your silver jewelry with a jewelry polishing cloth; the one included with your order is perfect for this task. Avoid concentrating on intentionally blackened areas with the polishing cloth, as this will remove the oxidization.

When not in use, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place, away other pieces to prevent scratches. The soft pouch that comes with your order is ideal for safe storage. Keep out of direct sunlight for long periods of time.
